Question:  What is a power tool race car?
Answer:    Google it.

Question:  Can I use a gas motor?
Answer:    No, read the RULES

Question:  Can my car run on top of the rails?
Answer:    The rails or retain walls are uneven and made of different materials.  Probably not the best idea for a fast car.

Question:  Is a cake mixer a power tool?
Answer:    Yes, If it is a hand held one, but wear an apron with it.  You might get your dress messy.

Question:  How long will the races last?
Answer:    It is being held at Relay For Life which runs all night.  We will run till we are done.  If there         is time afterwards we might have fun runs.

Question:  Will you have an area to work on the cars between races?
Answer:    Do you have tailgate?

Question:  What if my car jumps off the track during a race?
Answer:    You lose, unless you can talk the winner into racing again.

Question:  How long can my car be?
Answer:    No longer than 4 feet, otherwise we may not be able to stage your car.

Question:  Can I put a stuffed animal on my belt sander?
Answer:    Yes, and may act as a bumper at the end of the track.

  1. If the shavings from a router happen to 'accidently' land in my opponent's lane, will that be a problem?

    1. If your shavings cutting up the track, yes that is a problem. We are trying to avoid extensive damage to the track. If the shavings are from some former project, no problem.
